The Process

Here is the simple jig setup. These are the basswood gussets I carve and use in the main triangle and head tube area. Unfortunately, Paragon Machine Works no longer makes these. These are the hardwood plugs which have been cut and angled for the stays, including, holes for epoxy interlocking The bottom bracket also got its own basswood gusset for added strength to the chain stays The wrap is orthopedic casting tape specifically Techform . I did do some sanding but that is about all. I apply an exterior Poly Whey finish by Vermont Natural Coatings which works well on both the bamboo and Techform casting tape. Here is the brake bridge. This one did not use a traditional bike nut.  The Sapele hardwood cable guide for the BB shell.
